Summer Spirit Day Camp

And Toddler Camp

Purpose:  To provide an enriching summer camp for youngsters and toddlers.  For 15 years, St. Jude’s has offered a “Summer Spirit Day Camp” for youngsters that their hard-working parents can only envy.  “Camperships” are available and St. Jude’s allows children with special needs to attend.

Activities: Program has a different theme every day, woven around sports, arts, crafts and other worthwhile activities involving imagination, creativity, community service, and liturgical preparation.  The camp includes a talent show, lip sync, field trips, and the camp liturgy followed by a luau.
 
Where: Parish Hall, school, parking lot.
 
When: Six-week program in June, July.
 
Time commitment:  Mondays-Fridays in June/July.  Volunteer Staff: 8th-12th grade.  Directors: College-aged young adults.
